A MESSAGE FROM Fighting for Survivors of Sexual Abuse
Support The Assist!

Professionally, I represent child survivors of sexual abuse in the courtroom. My coworkers and I fight for justice in civil courts for survivors of abuse, we focus on children and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Sports should be a safe place for kids to be, not a hunting ground for abusers.

I’m running the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon to help create safer sports through The Athlete Survivors’ Assist (The Assist) — a survivor-led nonprofit working to end sexual violence in athletics. The Assist provides crucial peer support for survivors, delivers education and trauma-informed training to teams and organizations, and advocates for stronger protections and accountability across all levels of sport. Your donation directly supports this mission and helps ensure every athlete can compete safely and confidently. Please consider giving so we can try to make sports a safer place where kids can grow, learn, and achieve.
