Dear Friends,
I love this photo of our grandchildren, but it’s just not complete without our granddaughter River, who would have been four this year. For my birthday this year (#69!) I am dusting off my (very dusty) running shoes to join River’s Runners to raise money for the River Ellis Foundation (REF). Even though she was with us for only two days, River is always in our hearts and her legacy is far-reaching.
Please join me as I raise funds for REF and train for this 8k event scheduled for St Patrick’s weekend 2023 in Virginia Beach. What a fantastic way to support REF’s work and celebrate my birthday!
The River Ellis Foundation is a community-focused 501c3 nonprofit organization helping those in the Hampton Roads community who have recently encountered an unexpected hardship.
