I’ll be running the New York City Marathon this November — my first race ever! As many of you know, I ran cross country in high school, couldn't stand it, and swore off running for the rest of my life. But then the pandemic came around and I took up running again in 2021, learning to love something I once passionately hated. It's become a wonderful form of meditation for me, and an overall excellent challenge. And, over the next 4 months, I’ll be training up to 25 miles per week!
I’m running to support a great non-profit called A Better Childhood (ABC). Why donate? ABC's mission is to change the lives of over 400,000 children, fighting for the rights of the abused and neglected children living in foster care.
I hope you will consider supporting my training and race with a donation to ABC. All donations go towards ABC’s work of overhauling broken foster care systems to make sure all kids are safe and cared for.
$50, $75, $100 – any donation helps towards my $5,000 goal! To make a gift in support of my run, please click the Donate Today button above. To read more about ABC’s work click here: abetterchildhood.org
