The last time I ran the  United Airlines NYC Half Marathon was in 2017. I wore my donut unicorn socks because I was short on training and magical thinking was going to be my best option. I’m excited to be running it again this year - a little bit older but hopefully relying less on magic socks and more on miles, and I’m even more excited to be fundraising for Urban Justice Center (“UJC”), https://www.urbanjustice.org. UJC has been fighting for social justice since the 80s and continues to expand. Their new social justice generator program helps fledgling non-profits get off the ground.  I cannot wait to wear my UJC shirt through the streets of NYC where they do so much of their incredible and needed work.
