T.E.A.L.® - Tell Every Amazing Lady in the fight against Ovarian Cancer, and here's why...
In November 2013, our best friend Marcy suffered a debilitating stroke. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She fought ferociously for 5 years undergoing various treatments and numerous clinical trials all while learning to walk and write (and of course dance) again.
In spite of and inspired by her own experiences, she continued her passion for civic and social engagement which now included raising awareness for ovarian cancer and the little research and dollars dedicated to this disease. One of the first things she did was to push herself in physical therapy to get strong enough to participate in the Teal Walk with her very own Marcy’s Army behind her in 2014.
On December 29, 2018, God called Marcy home but her passion stays with all of us who knew and love her and it would mean the world to us if you could help us honor her in one of the most important ways we can do that - raising awareness through Tell Every Amazing Lady.
