Hi all! I am extremely excited for the opportunity to fundraise for Jay's Hope and run for their team in the 2025 Chicago Marathon in October. Jay's Hope is an organization that was created in memory and honor of Jay Burger. It is a foundation that is dedicated to creating opportunities that provide hope and support to young adults battling cancer.
Navigating a cancer diagnosis at any age provides a unique set of challenges for a person and their loved ones, and being a young adult is no exception. Jay's hope recognizes the importance of enhancing life experiences and joy during the battle with cancer to further provide strength when navigating treatment and beyond. Your donations will help them create dedicated spaces and unique experiences for young adults that honor and underscore this mission.
I am running for my family members and the patients that I worked with during my time at the CORE (Cancer Outcomes Research and Education Program) who have been personally affected by cancer. Their stories and resilience inspire me to support work aiming to improve the quality-of-life of others impacted by cancer. I look forward to honoring them through my training and support of Jay's Hope.
