A MESSAGE FROM Eric Villafuerte Chicago Marathon 2026
I am excited to be running the 2026 Chicago Marathon with #TeamLVEJO! I chose to
run with the Little Village Environmental Justice Organization because as someone born and raised in Little Village it is unjustified that something as simple as fresh air is forgotten as the community has faced years of pollution. My goal is to raise $2,200 to advance their mission to accomplish environmental justice in Chicago’s
frontline communities.
The Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO) is a non-profit
organization whose mission is to organize with the Little Village community to
accomplish environmental justice and achieve the self-determination of immigrant,
low-income, and working-class families.
