A MESSAGE FROM Rico De Vega
Although I have done several half-marathons before, this November 2022 New York City Marathon will be my very first full marathon! 

Feels awesome to be chosen to represent and run for Girls Inc of New York City! Such a worthwhile cause to raise funds for what I truly believe in! Girls Inc, with our donated dollars and volunteering, has inspired thousands of young women to be strong, smart, and bold through education and advocacy! And I know this firsthand! Because I am involved with the Canadian affiliate “Girls Inc of Durham” as donor, volunteer, Treasurer and Board Member for the past 6 years!
