On September 12th, we lost our dear friend, Kaitlyn Marie Hill to Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She advocated throughout her entire journey how important self checks and annual check ups are and fought with all the strength inside of her until her last breath. She was inspiring, selfless, kind, thoughtful, passionate, and only ever wanted to help those around her. Growing up, Kait did not have an easy childhood. She lost her mom to leukemia at the young age of 10 and continuously faced hardships throughout her life. Instead of looking at the negatives, Kait was the optimist. She saw this as an opportunity to better the lives of people who had gone through similar upbringings. Her dream was to become a therapist and for a short while, she was. For the 27 short years Kait was given on this Earth, she has changed the lives of so many people. And will continue to forever. We are running for Kait today because all Kait ever wanted to do as a kid was cure cancer and help those diagnosed with it. Raising any money and awareness towards this incredibly horrible disease meant the world to her and that’s exactly why we’re here today. For Kait.
