A MESSAGE FROM Matt's NYC Marathon Fundraising Page
Hey Everyone! I'll be running in the 50th anniversary of the NYC Marathon this year and am incredibly excited to say the least! As a lot of you may know, a large portion of marathon participants are granted entry through the New York Roadrunners' official charity partner program. I was lucky enough to link up and meet the good folks behind Stay Focused and they will be the organization sponsoring my running efforts. In short, Stay Focused offers a unique learning experience to children and adults with disabilities through a scuba diving certification program. Over the years, Stay Focused has even seen some of their alumni go on to participate for Team USA in the World Paralympic Games and five of them even medaled!
My personal contribution and goal is to raise $5,000 for the organization. Any support is welcome and appreciated and I thank you all in advance for taking a look and considering helping out Stay Focused in conjunction with my personal marathon goals.
