Hi everyone! I need your help. I'm raising funds for the Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund and will be running with Team Baldwin on November 7th at the New York City Marathon. My goal is to raise $3000 to help support their mission and fund the research necessary to finally find a cure for breast cancer.

This cause is very important to me as I have two dear friends who have recently battled breast cancer.  

Approximately, 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer during her lifetime. The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund is committed to battling breast cancer by raising money to help researchers learn more about the causes, prevention, and treatment of breast cancer.  

My dear friend, Diane M, has been a breast cancer survivor for 3 years but the lingering fear and uncertainty of its return remains.  As a therapist, she uses her compassion and life experience to help those battling mental health concerns and navigating some of dark passages of their lives as she knows first hand what that is like. 

Sue W, has been staying in the fight with strength, faith, and grace as she went through several rounds of chemotherapy. She has blessed our community with her love for children, theater, and the arts, and has taught many children, including my daughter, to play piano and sing beautifully as well as directed Broadway-quality productions for our local Academy theater. 

As I run on November 7th, I will be supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and honoring those who valiantly battled cancer but were taken way too soon.
