A MESSAGE FROM Nick's NYC Marathon Fundraiser
Forty percent of us are going to get cancer. Forty percent. One of the most important factors to surviving this staggering statistic is early detection. DetecTogether teaches a simple, 3-step strategy for detecting cancer early. They instill their mission in schools, communities, teams, and to those at high risk to empower people to obtain better healthcare and medical treatment. Their life-saving presentations and information are delivered at no cost, thanks to the immense generosity of donors. I am running the TCS New York City Marathon this November as part of Team DetecTogether to aid in the mission of early detection.
