Anne Kastor Brooklyn Free Clinic is a student-run organization that provides free health care to uninsured patients in Brooklyn. Since I started volunteering here 3 years ago as a first year medical student, I have seen the powerful impact this clinic has on the local community and witnessed the lives it changed first hand, which is what kept me coming back year after year. Our clinic is not-for-profit and thus requires generous donations not only to keep running our day-to-day operations like wellness check ups but also procuring equipments e.g. PPE and covering the cost of HIV testing, vaccination and medications for our patients. Your donation will help us fight COVID, monkeypox as well as many chronic illnesses in the most vulnerable population.
