A MESSAGE FROM Ryan's NYC Marathon Fund Raising Page on Behalf of Prince's Trust USA
Building better futures for young people is a marathon not a sprint. That's why this year I've decided to run the TCS New York City Marathon in support of Prince's Trust USA and their mission to help young people transform their lives.
I'm immensely proud to be able to call both the US and UK "home", and even more excited to raise money for a charity that is doing very important work in both countries to support young people in developing the confidence and skills to live, learn, and earn, and to navigate the complex and challenging world that we live in.
The Prince's Trust was founded in 1976 by His Majesty King Charles III, then the Prince of Wales, on the belief that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they are facing. In 2019, Prince's Trust USA was established to aid the global mission of The Trust and support the young people of the United States.
The Prince's Trust now works in 23 countries around the world and has helped over one million young people build futures for themselves. Over the last five years, 3 in 4 young people support by the Trust moved into work, education, or training.
Thank you very much for your support and for helping to change the lives of young people around the world!
