1 marathon down, the best yet to come!
Thank you so very much to all of you who have donated to my page so far! An update on my training - I ran my first marathon in San Francisco last week. After an excruciating, lingering case of COVID over the winter and an Achilles tendon injury that sidelined me from running and landed me in PT this spring, I wasn't sure this race was on the table. That made crossing the finish line pain-free and beating my time expectation for myself even more special. It also got me even more excited to run New York in just under 100 days, and to be raising money to support public health initiatives in the city. Health can't be taken for granted, and it means so much that you've generously supported my campaign to promote well-being in the greatest city on Earth!

A MESSAGE FROM Gabriella
I'm running the 2022 TCS New York City Marathon in support of the Fund for Public Health NYC, and would so appreciate any donations towards my fundraising goal! The money will go towards FPHNYC's work of funding and implementing public health initiatives in the city, such as promoting vaccines in communities with low vax rates and working with hospitals to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity.
