January 4, 2015, I found out I was pregnant after 4 years of trying. That journey almost broke me, but it led me to some great places - finding Resolve and starting Fempower Health, where I empower women to advocate for their health.
I discovered Resolve through my network and leveraged their "group therapy" as support during my fertility journey, and it was incredibly powerful. In gratitude, I joined them on their advocacy days both in Washington, DC and Albany, NY. It is my honor to celebrate their 50th anniversary and my 50th year on this planet to run the NYC Marathon raising awareness of all they do and the support the 1 in 6 families struggling to build theirs face.
