The Make a Wish mission is a powerful and transformative one. "Together ,we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses." I've been a wish granting volunteer for dozens of wishes over the past 20+ years and I can personally attest to the power of a wish. The wish experience gives children and their families hope and strength to deal with the enormous challenges they face. I've seen first hand the look of fear and despair that comes with prolonged suffering, turned into joy and optimism, emotions that can only help in their battle to become healthy again and live normal lives.
