A MESSAGE FROM Grace Martin's Fundraising Page
As an educator, avid runner, and CASA supporter for the last 4 years, choosing to run with CASA was a no- brainer. As an alumni of Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Iowa, I spent the past 4 years learning, fundraising, and admiring the love and compassion CASA advocates have for the children in the foundation. As a first-year teacher in the area, it is extremely important to me that children have a support system in their lives, like CASA, so they can not only continue their education but also have the ability to become the best version of themselves. And finally, as a high school cross country coach, the Chicago marathon combines my passion for running with the ability to support such an astounding organization. I hope that the miles and the fundraising can make even a small impact.
To family and friends, if you are able, any contribution, big or small, gets our community one step closer to giving children the representation they need to continue giving them a happy and healthy childhood. Thank you so much!
