I am excited to be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this October AND I have teamed up with Second City Canine Rescue to raise funds for homeless dogs at the same time! SCCR is a no-kill, progressive dog rescue in the Chicago suburbs that saves dogs from Chicago’s city shelters as well as shelters as far away as Arkansas and Alabama. SCCR accepts all breeds and has a special love for senior dogs.     The Bank of America Chicago Marathon’s charity program helps Chicago-area non-profits raise much-needed funds and I am so proud to be contributing to this “marathon” effort.
