A MESSAGE FROM Holly K. Pilcavage's NYC Marathon Fundraising Page
"Support to be supported" is one of my mottos in this beautiful life and I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent the Allied Services team at the NYC Marathon in November!
My own running journey only began in May of 2022 when I decided to challenge myself after years of saying, "I'm not a runner." I started by training for my first 5K and then did a few more throughout the year to keep my training and momentum going. I thought I'd take the winter off because I don't typically enjoy the cold but next thing I knew I was starting a 14-week training plan to complete my first half marathon in March 2023. Through this journey to my first half marathon, my partner in life Samuel O'Connell along with my best friend Anthony Melf ran right by my side - and we literally crossed the finish line at the same exact time!
I first learned about the opportunity to apply for Team Allied Services as I was wrapping up my training for my first half and knew it was something my heart wanted to run for and support through fundraising efforts! So, here we are! I humbly ask for your support to help me meet (and exceed) the $3,500 fundraising goal to help me get across the NYC Marathon finish line and make a difference in the lives of those impacted by Allied Services.

For every $35 donation, you are eligible to receive an official, moisture-wicking team shirt!
We invite you to join us in changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and chronic illnesses in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Your donation will support the work of Allied Services, a non-profit health system: making miracles in rehab, helping people regain health and independence after an injury, improving the quality of life for people living with Parkinsonβs or recovering from a stroke, empowering children to overcome a learning disability and much more.
