A MESSAGE FROM Humphrey Runs the Chicago Marathon!
Hi all! I am running the Chicago Marathon this year. It is my first ever Marathon, and one of my life-long goals. In partnership with After School Matters, I was able to secure a bib to run it :) After School Matters is a non-profit that supports over 19,000 teens with after school and summer programs in the arts, communications, business, sports, and STEM.
Personally, I've done a lot of workshops for high school kids, college classes, and I even taught some financial literacy for a similar summer program in San Francisco for underserved teens, so this is a cause that is close to my heart.
If personal finance was taught in schools, our country would not have such a problem with impulsive purchases, lifestyle inflation, and consumer debt. Please join me in supporting ASM and enjoy watching me painfully train for 26.2 miles :)
