A MESSAGE FROM Take the Lead: Help Jack Rapala Run CHI 2026 for the 75th Ranger Regiment
Hello! Jack here! I want to personally thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I hope you take the opportunity to support the amazing organizations of Army Ranger Lead the Way Fund and the 75th Ranger Regiment.
I have been on quite a journey and it means the world to me to be able to represent these organizations. Allow me to go the extra mile and show appreciation for the sacrifices our military members and families of the 75th Ranger Regiment made. Your contribution and thoughtfulness fuels me to push through obstacles and show how truly blessed we are as Americans.
A little about me to get to know who you are supporting and how you are making a dream become possible. I am from Milwaukee, WI. I am a full time banker and part time graduate student pursuing a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Marquette. I am heavily involved in shooting competitions like USPSA, PCSL, NRL22, Run and Gun biathlons, and other carbine matches. I worked in the firearms industry for several years supporting prepared citizens, law enforcement, and military through equipping them with the proper tools and knowledge to keep us safe.
A few years ago, I lost 90lbs in one year in a fitness journey spurred by health conscious initiatives and the pursuit to push my body to the limit. If you would have told me that I would be running marathons for fun and charity, I would have laughed. But now it is in my blood and DNA. Fitness and exercise is a major part of who I am. This year I will be tackling my first 50mi race and by the time the Chicago Marathon comes up, I will have completed my first ultra marathon. I plan to tackle the big 240mi ultra marathon in the next few years.
My athletic background comes from sports. I played football for 14 years all the way up to the collegiate level at the UW-Stevens Point. I played the position of offensive lineman for the latter years ultimately weighing in at 320lbs. If you are a avid searcher, you could easily find my roster picture from back then. I may or may not look like a Viking.
If you made it this far into my page, please consider supporting my fundraising efforts for the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon. No donation is too small. Please click on the donate button!
