A MESSAGE FROM Jaron Martinez
My name is Jaron Martinez. I am running in the 2023
New York City Marathon to raise money for those battling Cystic Fibrosis. My
uncle, Josh Taylor, was diagnosed with CF at six months of age. I see
first-hand the many challenges he faces. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive,
genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. There are
close to 40,000 children and adults living with CF in the United States. With
every mile I run preparing for this year’s NYC Marathon, I am reminded how
people with CF have to fight every day to try and keep this progressive disease
at bay. I will
keep running until CF stands for Cure Found. Please support me as I run. Thank
you.
