A MESSAGE FROM Cristy’s Cancer Crushers
As you may or may not know, about two months ago my mom Cristy was diagnosed with lung cancer. When I first found out about the news, I was devastated. I always heard about people I distantly knew going through hardship, but I never thought something like cancer would be thrown at me and my family as quickly as it was. Throughout this process of coping with the fact that someone as beautiful and amazing as her would have to go through this treacherous battle, I have been touched by her faith, optimism, and hope about the future.
In order for the Miami Cancer institute to continue with their cutting edge therapies, clinical trials, and the best possible treatment for all cancer patients, I am asking you to join me in participating in the Bounce Back against Cancer event. On May 10th I will be dribbling a basketball for 3 miles to raise funds in support of the Miami Cancer Institute and I am very grateful that your donation would ensure that patients like my mom and others can receive the top tier treatment they need.
