A MESSAGE FROM Jeff Liszt / NY Marathon / City Harvest
After a brutal journey through the desert at Ironman St. George a decade ago, I decided to take a break from endurance sports. But I'm coming off the couch to raise some money for a cause that's especially dear to me, City Harvest. I'll be running the New York Marathon on November 6th, and soliciting contributions along the way.
As we emerge from the pandemic, many of us are looking forward to living our best lives. At the same time, for many of our neighbors, including hundreds of thousands of children in New York, just getting enough to eat remains a daily struggle. The City Harvest team has a goal of raising $400,000 to help feed New Yorkers who are struggling to put good, nutritious food on their tables. I'm proud to be a part of the effort.
