a moment to visit my Fundraising page. This year, I am deeply honored to join
forces with the non-profit charity Think Pink Rocks as part of their incredible
charity team for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.
While breast cancer can affect both men and women, 1 in 8
women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. So many of us
have been personally affected by breast cancer. My Grandmother had breast
cancer and my Aunt is currently battling it. A childhood friend of mine
lost her courageous battle with breast cancer at the age of 42. My
personal connections with breast cancer are what make me so passionate in
helping to find a cure.
Think Pink Rocks is a
non-profit charity whose mission is to raise awareness about early detection of
and genetic testing for breast cancer and to provide critical funding for
research. Genetic testing alone can assess future breast cancer risk or help to
decide on treatments if you have already been diagnosed.
Donations go directly
to Think Pink Rocks Breast Cancer Research Funds at Memorial Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center and the Breast Oncology Center at the University of
Michigan's Rogel Cancer Center. Your donation today
will help fund cutting edge breast cancer research.
