A MESSAGE FROM Jennifer’s Fundraising Page
I am running the NYC marathon for the SUDC Foundation in memory of my niece, Lily Jo Jurgens. She died June 15, 2015 at the age of 2, just three days after her second birthday. Lily was our sunshine on a cloudy day, and brought so much joy to our lives in her two short years on earth with us.
While training for the marathon I think of my precious niece and all the angels gone way too soon. I think of how they deserve an answer and how much work still needs to be done to find one. With your help we can get there one day!
The SUDC Foundation’s mission is to promote awareness, advocate for research, and support those affected by sudden unexpected or unexplained death in childhood (SUDC). The SUDC Foundation is not federally funded and runs solely on private donations and all their amazing, life-saving work would not be possible without people like you!
