A MESSAGE FROM Jeremy
I am an addict. I’ll eat a quart of ice cream in 1 sitting, stay up until 3am binge watching TV and work all Christmas Eve for the satisfaction of getting something “done”. 5 years ago, as my dad lost his battle with cancer, these tendencies expressed themselves in different, less productive, ways.
I was fortunate enough that when I finally reached out for help, I had access to resources that gave my recovery the best possible chance for success. Since then, I've been living a life beyond my wildest dreams.
This year, I'm running the NYC marathon with Release Recovery, which provides financial assistance for people seeking medical treatment to recover from alcoholism and addiction. For many, the cost of treatment is prohibitively expensive and some will die as a result. Please support me in helping someone to get into treatment and focus on recovery, not how much it costs.
