A MESSAGE FROM Jessica O'Neill's Fundraising Page

I’m running the Chicago Marathon this year — but this journey isn’t just about miles or medals. It’s about something far more important.

During my time at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, I saw firsthand the challenges children face in the foster care system. That experience left a lasting impact on me. I will always have a soft spot for them — and for the people whose hearts are big enough to do the hard, important work of keeping them safe. ❤️

So when I was asked which organization I wanted to run for, there was no hesitation: it had to be CASA.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) gives children in foster care a voice — someone to stand by them, fight for them, and help them find the stability and love every child deserves. Every dollar raised supports this mission, helping provide care, advocacy, and the chance for these children to thrive in forever homes.

Our fundraising goal is $2,500. But this isn’t just a number — it represents hopestability, and a brighter future.

Training for this marathon has been intense. I’ve reflected, prayed, and fought through physical and mental challenges. But what kept me going was knowing that there is an opportunity to enrich the life of a child. That’s why this cause is deeply personal — and why I’m asking for your support.

Any donation — big or small — makes a real difference.

Thank you for believing in this mission, for standing with us, and for helping bring light and hope to children who need it most.
