Maybe it's the fact that this time around I'll get to see some fellow team Brave Like Gabe "alumni" and run together at the same race finally? 

Maybe it's that this race is in Minnesota, Gabe's old stomping grounds and home state where Brave Like Gabe all began. 

Maybe it's that this was the race I was supposed to do in 2020 right after both Gabe and Grams passed away less than 4 months apart and it was supposed to be the perfect way to honor both of them but then the world shut down. 

Bottom line is - we'll be RUNNING ON HOPE and CELEBRATING EVERYTHING! I'll be heading out to Minnesota in less than 2 months, though I'm "only" going to conquer the half marathon this time around, as opposed to the 2020 plan for the full marathon (maybe, just maybe, I'm finally learning my lesson to not wing marathons) The mission remains the same - raise as much money as possible for rare cancer research because there are way too many illnesses out there that thrive in the darkness of not having enough funding and attention on them to find cures. 

Regardless of your connection to the mission, I welcome and appreciate any and all support as we continue to honor Gabe and her legacy!
