A MESSAGE FROM Racing to Support Job Training & Financial Independence for Adults with IDD

Research has shown that maintaining a worthwhile job contributes to better self esteem and independence. Many adults with IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disorders) in the local Houston area are perfectly able and willing to work but lack the resources and training to join the workforce. As an advocate for promoting financial independence through job training, as well as a member of the H.E.A.R.T. Young Professional Board, it is my prerogative to see a city as diverse as Houston open its doors to more adults who are ready and willing to contribute.

Please join me in raising money for our amazing charity during the 2021 Houston Marathon!
