A MESSAGE FROM First Flight Alliance for Operation Active Kids
I'm running the NYC Marathon this year to raise money for Operation Active Kids (OAK) with First Flight Alliance! 

OAK is a local (Upstate SC) Charity that provides scholarships that cover the cost of sports and other recreational activities for kids. Visit the First Flight Alliance website to learn more about OAK and the NYC Marathon team.

I was born and raised on Long Island and my family has lived in New York for generations, so crossing the NYC Marathon finish line would mean the world just because it's home. I moved to South Carolina last year, so being a part of this team means I get to give back to my new home and run in the place that raised me, and that feels really special.
