A MESSAGE FROM Julie's Fundraising Page
In November of 2015 I lost my brother Brady as a result of complications from a brain injury. Brady was an Iron Man and loved to race and I felt the best way for me to honor him was to do the same. In his last few years he helped coach other athletes that were training for races. I truly do feel closest to him when I'm running. Brady was two years older than me and I looked up to him. It's taken me a while to be able to do a race that I feel is worthy of him and every thing he meant to me. I'm running the New York Marathon in his honor exactly eight years later to help raise awareness and funds for brain injuries. Thank you for considering donating to such a worth cause. By donating to me, you are encouraging me and helping to support the Brain Injury Association of New York State and give a voice to brain injury!
