A MESSAGE FROM In Memory of Donna Cregger
My aunt, Donna Cregger, was one of the most influential women in my life. She was a woman who was always there for me, and who really and truly loved me unconditionally. In January 2009, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and in May 2011, she lost her battle and crossed over. I miss her every day.

The first Ovarian Cancer Walk I participated in was held in Maryland in September 2010 the year before she passed. Our entire family came out to participate and Donna walked as a survivor. Our team had members from Massachusettes to Florida congregating in Maryland to show our support for this amazing woman.

This disease whispers and is very difficult to diagnose because the medical community doesn't automatically test for this cancer. She didn't have any symptoms and when she went to the hospital for a belly ache, she came out diagnosed with this horrifying disease.
