This year I’m taking on my first-ever marathon - the Chicago Marathon - and I’m running it for something much bigger than myself. I’m proud to be running with Team CASA of Cook County, an organization that ensures children in the foster care and court systems have someone truly in their corner.
This cause is deeply meaningful to me because I’ve always believed that every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and protected - especially during moments when their world feels uncertain. CASA does exactly that, providing stability and a trusted voice when it matters most.
Training for my first 26.2 in my 26th year will be the hardest physical challenge I’ve ever taken on, but it doesn’t compare to what these kids face every day. If my miles and your support can help even one more child gain access to an advocate who will fight for their safety, stability, and future, it will all be worth it.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me. Every donation truly makes a difference - and every mile I run is for the children who deserve to be seen, supported, and protected. 🤍
