A MESSAGE FROM Kelly's Race to New York City
I've never publicly shared this. For several years, I have struggled with infertility. I've gone down every rabbit hole you can think of...from diet, supplements, meditation and acupuncture, to the ever-so-expensive fertility treatments. It has been hell. A physical and mental war against myself and feeling like I can't win. So, I decided to take control of what my body CAN do.
I grew up with a heart condition, bad back, and pushing myself physically was never in the cards...until now. I started running. I pushed myself beyond what I thought I could do nearly every run. My body is strong. Capable of miracles. I run to prove that my mind, body, and soul are able to go beyond what I ever thought they could. And in November, I will run for every other woman who has been told what her body can and can't do.
And my brother, my forever best friend and biggest supporter, will be running with me. Please help us in this journey and in this cause.
