A MESSAGE FROM Kelly
Hi friends!
I am beyond excited to get the opportunity to run one of my first Marathon Majors this year back in my favorite place -- the Midwest :). While training, I will be raising awareness and funds for the most vulnerable individuals in Chicago--children in the Cook County foster care system who have experienced abuse and/or neglect.
Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have not only loving parents, but also a positive, supportive, and kind community that helped me whenever I needed it. I am running for Team CASA because I realize how important it is for kids to be raised in a healthy community with a support system that makes sure kids are getting what they need. CASA of Cook County helps to give these midwest kids the ongoing support to find that positive community and provide them with the fresh start that they deserve!
