A MESSAGE FROM Kelly Runs The City

I am running the 2023 TCS NYC Marathon as part of the Expect Miracles Foundation’s team in honor of the many family and friends who have fought or lost their battle with cancer. First and foremost, I run it for my amazing Aunt Kate who lost her battle to a Glioblastoma 8 years ago. I run for Kate, for Des, for Julian, for Steph and for everyone we all know in the fight today.

For those of you who know me well, you know that I don’t like running. This is a true personal challenge and something to cross off the bucket list. I am honored (and also terrified) to be able to take this on.

Funds raised will benefit Expect Miracles Foundation's three signature programs: cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and Samfund grants and advocacy to support young adult cancer survivors who are struggling financially.
