A MESSAGE FROM Kiana's Fundraising Page
On May 18th I will be participating in a 5k run via the Eagles Autism Challenge with Temple classmates on the Student Occupational Therapy Association Team. The race will begin & end at Lincoln Financial field & will feature members of the Eagles Football team! You may have initially heard of this event on The Ellen Degeneres Show featuring Ben from Pennsylvania.
100% of proceeds fundraised & donated through this race will be used to support Autism research in the Philadelphia area including institutions such as: CHOP, Drexel, & Jefferson Health! 1 in 59 children are diagnosed with Autism each year - awareness has increased throughout the years; however, there is a need to increase funding to conduct research to improve quality of life.
