A MESSAGE FROM Kaytee’s Run for Pits Fundraising Page
On March 7, 2027, I will run in the 2027 LOS ANGELES MARATHON. If you know me, you know that saving the lives of shelter animals is important to me. In 2017, we rescued our first Pit Bull mix, Sydney. She was a wonderful ambassador for her breed, being a pack walk leader and earning her Canine Good Citizen certificate. After she passed away, we adopted another Pit Bull mix, Brooklyn, who has been helping me train for my first marathon. So next March, I'm going to lace up my shoes and run my first marathon to help shelter pets in need. Angel City Pit Bulls helps at-risk populations and makes a better future for shelter animals. I will log tons of miles during training, my determination will be tested by sore muscles, and I might even have a few blisters and lost toenails along the way. It will not stop me. Why? Because every one of the dogs I will help save makes it all worth it. Please make a donation toward my life-saving effort.
