I'm excited to partner with Red Door Animal Shelter, a company that really intrigued me as I have rescues of my own! Red Door was founded in 1988 and has significantly grown throughout the years. In the Middle Ages, a red door was a symbol of a safe haven. This is exactly what Red Door Animal Shelter provides for the animals in its care and I am excited to take part in that.

I’ve dreamed of running the Chicago Marathon for a decade. After a lingering injury, I’m finally back on track. All thanks to my miracle working massage therapist and the support of my run club, Clayton Area Runners! Now I've run several 5k’s, 10ks, and half marathons within my two years of training. It’s finally time to run my first Marathon and what better first than the World Major in Chicago!

With my rescue fur-babies cheering me on, I'm lacing up for the run of a lifetime. Help me make it to the start line and give our four-legged friends a second chance at life. No donation amount is too small!
