I am running the Marine Corps Marathon in support of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (“ASAN”). ASAN’s motto is: “Nothing About Us Without Us,” which means that autistic people need to be part of any discussion about autism. Those with lived experience are in the best position to advocate for their needs.  The mission of ASAN is very close to my heart and family, and I am proud to be running in support of ASAN.
