Hello friends!
Some years ago, I created a pin about autism for an amazing organization called EDEN AUTISM. Through that project, I met several of the students and staff and learned a lot about autism. The stories and successes, challenges and achievements, hurdles and advances were somethingI'll always remember. I wanted to do more to help so when I heard about the Eagles Autism Challenge inaugural event last year, I signed up and walked in the pouring rain with several thousand of my closest friends. This year will be my second time doing the Eagles Autism Challenge and I’m hoping the weather will be better! On May 18th, I’ll be joining the entire Philadelphia Eagles organization and thousands of Eagles fans and others who will ride, run or walk to raise funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism and shift from autism awareness to action.
100% of participant-raised funds will go directly towards autism research and programs at a coalition of leading institutions including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.
I need your support to reach my goal and help assist those currently affected as well as future generations. Last year was amazing (despite the weather!), so this year is bound to be awesome. Thank you in advance and FLY EAGLES FLY! (Did I mention I’m also a late bloomer Eagles fan??!!)
Cheers,
LisaBeth
