I'm running for PPGNY because everyone should be able to determine for themselves if and when they want to become a parent.  

On June 24th, the Supreme Court ended the federal constitutional right to abortion, allowing states across the country to restrict, and even ban abortion care. This decision robs millions of people across the country of their right to control their bodies and personal health care decisions, giving it to politicians and leaving them without access to safe, legal abortion.

In New York State, however, abortion is still safe and legal. The Reproductive Health Act of 2019 secures the right to abortion in New York State despite the court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. That means all New Yorkers and people from out-of-state who seek health care services in New York State can legally access abortion.
