A MESSAGE FROM Liza's Fundraising Page
I am taking on Team In Training’s Re(Solution) Challenge to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
I am riding in the Re(Solution) Challenge for my brother-in-law, Marty Hogan, who has battled Leukemia over the last few years. He is the father of two, a husband, a hockey lover, a great friend, a special person all around. In 2019 Marty ran the marathon for Team In Training while still suffering from the loss of feeling in his leg and feet from the drugs he was on to fight this disease. He ran it again all by himself this year when the race was canceled due to COVID.
Marty running the marathon two years in a row has inspired me to join the Re(Solution) Challenge and push for 250 miles on the bike this month. I ask for your help to fundraise for this cause that is so important to my family and so many more like it. Every penny makes a difference.
I will also be teaching a virtual fundraising spin class at my studio, Spynergy Wicker Park, on January 30th, at 9:30 am. Here is the link to sign up if you have access to a bike!
Thank you for your support <3
