I continue to run for the Hoyt Foundation first and foremost because I believe in inclusion. Making sure people with disabilities have the same opportunity to access joy, competition, creativity and community as their able bodied peers just makes sense. Everyone should be able to follow their passions and interests, to be stimulated and feel excited and energized. Team Hoyt helps raise awareness for people with disabilities and provides concrete support to make all that happen. Having been part of the Team Hoyt running community for several years, I now have additional personal connections that fill me with pride and make me always want to wear the Team Hoyt singlet.
