A MESSAGE FROM Charley Magrew's 2024 NYC Marathon Fundraiser benefitting City Parks Foundation
Hi all - my name is Charley Magrew. On November 3, 2024, I will set out for my fifth TCS New York City Marathon (2019, 2020 digital, 2021, 2023). As with past years, I will run 26.2 through the five boroughs in memory of my amazing sister Hallie. I will again pair this endeavor with a fundraising campaign for an organization I've grown closely to while living in New York, both personally and professionally: City Parks Foundation, the non-profit organization behind SummerStage in Central Park. After several years of producing events at SummerStage, and now serving on the Arts Committee of City Parks Foundation, I've seen first-hand the positive impact that accessible music and arts programming can have on the community.
