I started working for The Foundation For Tomorrow (TFFT) in September of 2023, and since then my life has changed for the better. My time here has been filled with so many incredible opportunities and has ignited a passion for educational equity and community empowerment.
At TFFT, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that education can have on children’s lives, providing them with opportunities to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential. Visiting Tanzania for the first time (only 4 weeks after my first day of work!) profoundly changed my perspective and made me more motivated than ever to make a tangible difference in the world. When the opportunity presented itself to run the NYC Marathon—my first ever—on behalf of TFFT, I knew this was the perfect time and the perfect cause.
Running the marathon for TFFT is more than a personal challenge—it’s a powerful statement of solidarity and hope for the children we serve. Each and every dollar that we raise has a profound impact on the fulfillment of our mission to combat vulnerability through the power of education.
