A MESSAGE FROM Mattie's Fundraising Page

Welcome to my fundraising efforts for the 2026 Chicago Marathon! I have decided to run with Project Purple and will be raising awareness for pancreatic cancer research in honor of my dad who passed away in 2020. Athletics were a huge part of my dad's life, and I have been privileged enough to be able to carry on his legacy in this way. He never got to run the Chicago Marathon, but after running multiple marathons and the Ironman, he certainly knew the 26.2 effort well! I am excited to pursue this accomplishment and tribute my efforts to my dad and I would love your help in reaching my fundraising goal! Here's to one step closer to a cure for this disease!
