A MESSAGE FROM Meghan's Run-raiser for Children of Peru Foundation
Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be running the 2023 London Marathon to raise awareness and funds for the Children of Peru Foundation.

In 2016, I had a life-changing experience in the mountain town of Cusco, Peru - a popular destination in proximity to Machu Picchu. Amidst the rich culture and beauty of the Andes, I experienced first-hand volunteering at a special needs facility how poverty and discrimination predetermined a cruel fate for so many children who deserved humanity, kindness and opportunity. 

For this reason, I chose to run the London Marathon to support Children of Peru Foundation, a wonderful 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity based in New York that works with non-governmental organizations to provide better healthcare and education opportunities to impoverished children in Peru. Any amount is meaningful to help children in need in our global community.
